Watching the le man's coverage earlier today and only an hour in and one horrific crash how the driver got out alive beats me but glad he did.

i bet the spectators/marshalls on the other side of the tyre wall left a little brown patch on the floor with that thing flying towards them!! :-o very lucky no one was hurt

I think is is down to the construction of these cars, by the look of it the cabin stayed intact which obviously saved him.

Incredible, overjoyed that he is okay, surely the driver in the 458 should have been warned that the leaders were closing at a horrendous rate and to keep an eye open, cos he surely caused that accident (team manager has been called to the stewards)

Just seen a POV clip of the Rockenfeller crash, overtaking a Ferrari, which then moved/drifted over pushing him wide, drops the back out and bang straight into the armco...

wow amazing, bet he has lost his no claims for a few years, very lucky guy hope he did the lottery for week-end. :o

B***ger me, it makes me sweat looking at it, shows they build these cars well, a few years ago may have been a different story. :o

He was very lucky did here that a couple of marshals were injured the other crash in the night we saw on a TV in Arnage the locals were saying the driver was injured the safety car was out for around 2 hours.
