"All wiring present" - true for all ///M?

Hi guys,

I've seen the above phrase banded around quite a bit - that the majority of options wiring is already present on ///Ms. For example, CD player cables are present, so is the PDC plug in etc

Is this true for folding mirrors as well, do you know? Or is it really a case of finding out once opening up the various areas required to retrofit? I'm tempted to buy some folding mirrors and find the various other parts required. Yes, I know it's an expense, but I bought the car at the price for a Flimper spec (using that without truly understanding the origins!).

Any suggestions appreciated!
 
In general the earlier 2002-4 cars had looms incorporating most things. From that point on they dropped a lot of stuff, but at the same time started adding other things as new extras were released. Good examples are cruise that changed at 2003 and paddle shift pins in the slip ring that got added.

Cannot speak for PDC on an ///M as I've not checked that piece of the looms.

I would not however expect ///M's to be wired for everything, but as you suspect you have to open up the car and see what you have.

Thanks chap - might be worth be doing as suggested then, re mirror retrofit.
