Sorry for the thread hijack, but hello Ruby...how is married life?

Hi Craig! Married life is absolutely wonderful :) and hence not on the forum as much. Lurk around in the background more now. Hope all is well with you?
Returning to topic a bit - we rehomed an adult kitty from Battersea earlier in the year - best decision!

John!

You big softie! What a cute little ball of black and white fluff. Looks like he's already in love with you. Watch out though. He has those 'I am your master' eyes and I suspect your car will be hijacked!

Feeling distinctly fluffy.

Star man you are.

Cheers JC :D

Well done you. In my experience animals know when you've helped them out big time and return those favours many times over.

Let's hope that he gets the all clear soon and live and long and happy life.

Give it a few years,lol.....joking,glad you and disca are both happy

That's cool,re he cat/kitten. We got a new beagle pup back in January this year, and now expecting our first child in January coming, which will be great,if not interesting, haha.
All the best :D

Well done you! We knowingly purchased a runt a few years ago as knew he wasnt going to get to the love and care required. Cost us a fortune in getting his lungs drained but so worth it. He loves my wife more than me, but guess it was due to her picking him up and 'rescuing' him.

On the plus side, at 4am when he is like Louie Spence saying 'MORNING!' to her, I can carry on sleeping

Thanks for all the kind words you lovely lot..!!!

Tink's has been back to the vets and tbh they're not 100% sure he has flu, time will tell, but he is doing well, he's putting weight on which is essential as he's very small for his age and 400gs underweight, he needs to get to 1.2kilo's for his jabs. But he seems well and very happy, kidneys etc seem good so fingers crossed he's going to be ok, we're quietly confident he'll be fine.

So thanks again guys, you're all softies...

There's a lot of fingers crossed for the little guy John.

Good on you. I hope he gives you a huge amount of pleasure in years to come.

We adopted a second rescue female cat when our older one was 7 and well established. The second cat was a runt and had been locked in a bedroom only to be used for breeding so was terrified. They had a few incidents and once hierarchy was established they are now very much a pair. Let them have their own space and they will sort things out and be fine.
