All that talk about faulty roof motors!!

No point in worring about it, mine failed a couple of months ago and while it has been an in-connivance when it has been really nice and sunny ( :rofl: yea right) I have manualy operated the hood.

If nothing it has showed me that you can take the roof out, the fix is not the end of the world.. I do have a hartop and it will be going on in a few weeks time, i will also order a replacement motor but will not fit that until next year as it would be pointless at the moment.

so enjoy the car its one of the best out there. :driving:
 
Is there any easy way you can check if you have the 'facelifted' roof if it wasn't implemented at the point of the start of the facelift cars?

EG mine was a march 2006 model - so may or may not have the facelifted roof motor design?
 
Do the roof motors ever feature in the normal service schedules or do they only get attention when something goes wrong?
