Why are these mileages listed in KM?Motty said:RickRob said:Surely it's unusual for a car to be for sale with private plates? I would also be concerned that this was a car recovered by the finance people from someone who didn't keep up the payments and maybe couldn't afford to service it either.
Unless you can get for a ridiculously low price I would be walking away.
Yes it is strange about the plates. I spoke to the dealership that's putting it in auction, they mentioned that it was received as part exchange but wouldn't give me any further details.
Considering same year and mileage go for about £20k, would you consider £13/14k to be a 'ridiculously low price'?

First three services at same dealer, would have thought they would have done that as well.
No records of running in service though from the following warranty history the first owner seemed quite picky.
- [ ] 12/02/2008 catalytic converter making noise - 21,043km
- [ ] 10/03/2008 shock absorber front axel making noise - 22,000km
- [ ] 14/04/2008 oxygen control sensor permanent malfunction - 23,456km
- [ ] 21/10/2009 fresh air nozzle making unpleasant noise - 51,639km
- [ ] 27/03/2012 headlight cleaning, fuel filler flap (failed MOT for this), spray/nozzle leaking, actuator drive of central locking system broken, charging socket cover permanent failure - 74,971km
