If I really had to have a 4 x4 then I think this would be the top of my list, if I could muster the £70k starting price that is. Like it I do and with a weight saving of 450 kg over the previous model, bloated whale it isn't

Like the look of that... I'll just have to wait a couple of years until the famous depreciation kicks in... 70k is also a bit on the steep side for me!

Disguised ones have been on the M40 almost every morning when I go that way, probably going to/ from Gaydon. They do look good.

I will prob get shot saying this here... considering the large number of people here with an X5... but...

I would def pick that over an X5 anyday!

It's taking a lot of styling from the Evoque. Looks like a current shape RR sport supercharged will be coming down in price soon then :)

I think people choose the X5 over a Range/Land Rover because of the historical reliability issues, but you would have to ask PVR why?

My RRS was the most reliable car I had. Kept it for 4 years and the fourth year out of warranty, apart from an EGR valve going, it was faultless......

Don't ask pvr anything, he's nasty to me :)

It's range rovers that are the main culprits for breaking down so let's hope they've done something about the reliability issue.
My husband makes most of the body for this new one. Not personally, his factory I mean!

I love it.

Mental amount of £££ though, but I guess the Range Rover is all the car anyone ever needs.

A note of discord here. I hate 'em!!

Hate the image, the size and everything about them.

I'd much rather have a Defender personally

That's why I said if I had to have one, I would actually prefer to have my spleen removed with a tooth brush than have a 4 x4 :D

Not a RR fan, but this is an improvement on previous. To me they have lost the plot. They started as practical cars to tow, move 4/5 people, off road ability and have over years moved to huge luxury barges of which 95% will see no more than a wet gras car park, despite lots of clever off road technologies. It will sell by the 000's though for prestige, high driving position, luxury, etc.

X5, which I owned for a decade never broke down once, towed 2 tonnes of Jeep, carried my family in comfort and had 4x4 for difficult road conditions, but was very much road focussed. Not convinced by the latest X5 either that's grown bigger and fatter.
