all leather doors?

I just read a post that someone had extended leather in their ///M which covered the entire doors. I did some google searching and some people had the doors + A pillars covered, others had the dashboard, and others the centre tunnel in leather.

I thought all leather doors were standard equipment. My car has all leather black, with red inserts, but everything else is plastic. (A pillars, center tunnel, dash)?

What did the actual extended leather consist of, does anyone know for sure? Were there different extended leather options available?

I was also at the dealership and was checking out some e89's. Noticed one had the exact same plasticy sun visors as our cars, but one of them had it wrapped in black leather with contrast white stitching. Assume this would be an easy retrofit for the e85/e86 considering the visor is the same part number?

Does this cover it, if you'll pardon the expression :D

Thanks SuZ4. Made me a bit more confused. Wonder how come the car came with all leather door panels but none of the other extended leather bits.

Still nice surprise to find out it was an option all this time and not standard as I originally thought.

So you are saying the top of your doors are leather then ZED.

Could be somebody just got hold of the door cards and swapped them over.

Yes, top of the doors are leather. The only parts that are not leather are the grab handles, window switch, and mirror controls. I'd be surprised if it was swapped over, the former owner was a gent in his late 60's when he made the purchase. But anything is possible. I need to get a hold of the original build sheet.
