ALL in one engine monitoring unit?? anyone that can advise?

I would go with the above, as long as you have oil temp and pressure you are good, if you must have water then it's the boost gauge that has to go
How are you splicing in the sender units?
Oil pressure can be Tee'd of the low pressure warning sensor, water temp usually involves cutting a rad hose and fitting an adapter tube
Wide band lamda is more tricky, I know the AEM had a narrow band output so you screwed it in where the OEM sensor went and spliced the OEM loom to it, I had a separate boss welded on the exhaust so ran both wide and narrow lambda sensors

alfa is one thing im definatly leaving to simpson as i know these guys will do a PERFECT install i do no want problems later on, and i want properly neat wireing, i JUST need proper engine monitoring, it scared me when a usa had a fuel pump drop causing his motor to run dangerously lean, if it wasnt for his wideband, egt metres he would now be paying for a complete engine rebuild!! so this is something i HAVE to do!!!

Right the gauge pod is on its way to me,
boost is a must, wideband is a must, and i guess oil pressure.

i should have done this along time ago as its added substantial cost to my inspection 1 @ simpsons.

How come?! What do you really need them for! You'll know if the cars got a problem, especially with the level of tune you have/going for!

Gauges look pants, if they are a must i'd want them hidden!

ali..... ive give you a great example...

fr8tdog on the zpost has the vt-500 kit... he noticed on a hard run his lamda gauge was showing lean..... turns out his fuel pump wasnt working properly and the car wasnt getting enough fuel, now this simple 200 quid gauge saved 10grands worth of motor....

Gauges are a must for a car of this tune.. it'll allow me to stop or slow down before an issue ruins my motor.

found a great gauge pod also..... will post some pics once it arrives!!
