Had Inspection II and brake fluid change on #320 performed at BMW today - all done without fuss and no extra work or advisories :D

The service guy was a bit surprised this morning when I made him accompany me for a full visual inspection and got him to note that there wasn't a single scratch, scuff, dent or ding on the car and pointed out that if this wasn't the case when I came back and collected her I'd be going all medieval on his ass :evil:

I also pointed out that the car has a data logger installed so he should mention to the techs that, should a test drive be required, they should forget any thoughts of an Italian tune up!

Over the top?... quite possibly, but at least I set out my stall beforehand :wink:

The Intravee journal gives you all that you need while the car's with the dealer - last 20 journeys, time taken, distance covered, max speed, max revs, acceleration and braking forces, it even tells you if over revved when cold

Depends on the vehicle - that's an example log, I don't know what car it's from.

I've never seen those lines logged on mine as I tend to be careful about warming up before opening the tap so I only know about it logging the 'over revved' warnings from reading about it.
 
I could have sworn you had the car serviced a couple of weeks ago. Was that someone else's Alpina?

That was when I booked it in after I got the quote for £460 from BMW, which was pretty close as today's bill was £456 + shrapnel
