I'm tending towards the mv2's myself at the moment, but I'm happy to stick with the 108's until after Christmas or maybe until the better weather returns - they are easy to clean and have had a good going over with wheel wax, so shouldn't suffer too much.

Strange how the car looks shorter when covered in snow foam.
I've thought the same about that photo. I think it's because the snow foam makes the car look deeper - emphasising the line of the sills, which are lost when they blend into the shadow underneath the car when it's clean. Or maybe they just made the white ones shorter....
Lowered, spaced and still on it's winter 108's. Bit of an impromptu photo session courtesy of Jamie_Z4 and an hour to kill.... Mines on Eibach's, Jamie is on H&R's - you can see that his is slightly lower, noticeably so at the rear where there's less arch gap.

I'd always loved the coupe, and it's relative rarity and design details (They didn't have to put a double bubble into the roof, but they did and it just looks so damn good!) mean that, to my eyes at least, it still looks fresh and I still can't walk away from it without looking back over my shoulder.

I think they're all pretty much like that? Might be the fact that it's pale leather that's making it appear to be looser than an equivalent black version. They weren't tight in the convertible either. I assume it's linked to the fact that the airbag is behind there and it's design requirements should it ever need to fire?

I am about to purchase some Eibachs, and following that, probably the same alloys as yours.
have you got the wheel specs? 18s?

Thanks - the wheel specs are 19's, 8.5J fronts ET38, rears 9.5J ET33 (makes for a really noticeable concave on the rears)
I've noticed I get a tiny bit of rubbing on the front arch liners with the Eibach's and these wheels, when you get a lot of suspension compression (very bumpy roads etc), but it seems to be quite a common issue with Z4's either with spacers or after market wheels - there's not a huge amount of room in there!
