I drove to Cernobbio (Lake Como, Italy) for the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. On display were some of the most beautiful and expensive cars in the world. My favourite at the show was also the judge’s favourite, the beautiful 1937 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Berlinetta Touring. This was awarded the Trofeo BMW Group “Best of Show” and the legendary trophy named Coppa D’Oro. A truly fantastically, magnificent car which I think slightly resembles the Z4 Coupe. :) I took hundreds of pictures and have included a few here. The green Roadster (319/1) was BMWs second 6 cylinder car based on the first the 315/1.

Very envious of you BeeEmm. That's an event I would love to go to. I've been following Lienhard Racing's photos on Twitter. Fabulous cars

Some stunning photos there OP.

I can see why the Alfa won "Best of Show" - it's stunning!

That Alfa 8C is glorious. Little right up on it here.

Anyone know what it has under that fantastic bonnet. 8)

Edit: just seen a picture on the link. It's a straight 8. Never seen one of those before, awesome.
