Alfa Romeo 4C

Not driven but are disappointed?

How do you English say? The proof of the pudding is in the eating?

Well the end product is poor and the interior is not to the standard I would have expected, overall it looked and felt cheap. Every review available says its not better than a Exige I've found anyway so based on these professional have a clear understanding of cars , am inclined to support the view. Overall not for me... a 4 cylinder turbo does not excite me either :|

Around the nordschleife it's a lot faster than the exige, by about 20sec, so better or not, the performance is there. Fastest car under 250bhp I think.
It's not faster than the exige v6 (about 10 sec slower), but that has a bigger engine.

Carbon monocoque, italian styling.... epic!
Nice to see alfa producing a car that is in line with their long heritage. I hope their mainstream models will follow

I love the idea of the 4c and even toyed with the idea of a purchase,as they're one of the few cars that don't have a ridiculous 'aussie tax' on them when it comes to pricing.. but a buzzy 4pot just doesn't do it for me tbh - same goes for elises... I want to love them both but I just don't..

 how can you possibly quote an Exige which was designed 10 years ago to a new 4c? the 4c is new v6 Exige money after options etc therefore thats the comparable in my view. Am a huge Alfa fan I've had 5 in the past , just prefer an Exige every time .. must be a british motoring heritage thing

You're quoting it yourself.... so you tell me

The current exige S is 10.5k gbp more expensive in base spec than the 4c in base spec. So that's an extra 23%. Everyone can decide for himself if that's equal.

The elise CR is 38K (so that's a 7k GBP price difference). The 4c thus sits faily in the middle between the Elise and Exige V6 pricewise.

No am not... its just my IMO that i prefer an Exige over a 4C give it up dude , your the one spitting figures jezzz move on, if I had a choice over a V6 Exige and a 4C i would have the Exige , clearly mine was a s2 is not comparable to this conversation and the articles were comparing to its rivals. Have you driven either? if you prefer the styling that cool... I do like it but to be honest it need to be about 3ft longer and a ft shorter as it does look a bit odd at certain perspectives. But never mind horse or courses and all that
