Aldi Compressor

Looks like a good buy - and as it's from Aldi UK will at least have had to comply with all the UK Health/Safety/Construction/Type Approval stuff....

I assume the cfm is at zero psi and 8 bar the max pressure.

The best my on board air system on my Jeep runs is 10cfm at 0psi. That's a York aircon pump driven by a small block Chevy....
 
ooooooh, I think I'll have to invest! I've been planning on getting one for the new garage when we move, and I won't beat that price any time soon.
 
Got one of these about 18 month ago. It was a better offer at £69 and came with an accessory kit that contained
1 gravity spray gun
1 dip tube spray gun
1 tyre inflater gun with pressure gauge(accurate too as I checked it)
1 air blaster gun
1 garden sprayer for wood stain etc
1 5m hose
1 10m hose
some other bits I can't remember

I also bought the impact wrench and the ratchet at the time

still going strong and has been used to dismantle/remantle a diesel land rover.

I might get the hose reel and the filter/oiler this time

At the end of the day its cheap compressor but its never let me down and done everything I've asked of it including the head bolts on the landy so well worth what I paid for it. I have 2 mates also bought them for attacking nuts on land rovers and both those are still going strong after some pretty heavy use running grinders nibblers and windy guns.
 
I have no workshop but at that price even i am tempted.

CJ you have to stop tempting me with these Aldi bargin - my shed is going to fill up with what my gf calls my "man toys"

They are an important part of our well being and should be considered as such. I fired up what is becoming my favourite pointless toy yesterday - the 13hp petrol shredder. A certain satisfaction to turning an unloved bush into chips :)

Gotta finish my coffee then get this little baby before MRs CJ needs mothers day lunch
 
hehe, just got down to Aldi for 10am when it opened and there was a queue of 11 guys waiting outside, all of them picked up a compressor, a 15m hose reel, and a bunch of flowers :rofl:
