Alcohol + eBay = Camper Van

Hmmm...looks like I may soon be the proud owner of a VW Camper T25(T3) Camper Van.

Or 2 if I don't get outbid on at least one of them!

Still, impulse 2am bids after a couple bottles of vino collapso make a lot of sense don't they? Especailly on a 30 year old vehicle that you can't view before the auction ends!

Anyone on here got any knowledge on these things?!?!?

(It's bound to be a laugh...isn't it???)

Good effort

Link to van ad?!

Campervans are great fun - I've got a VW T5-based campervan, sort of the modern equivalent of what you've just bought. Link in signature...

I submitted an offer on this one (that my kids have already picked a name for  ) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180895771865?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

...and have bid on this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251071302560?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

To be fair if I do end up winning them both I'll buy them both (not fair to muck people around) and keep whichever I feel happiest with. I get the impression they hold their value well enough at that age!

(My head says I want the white one...my heart says YELLOW!)

TBH they both look like good vans so you can't go wrong. Our has the popping roof rather than fixed top as it opens up more possibilities for parking, etc. But on an older van there's less to go wrong with a fixed roof. I'd be torn between them too...

I once bid on a routemaster whilst under the influence

I fancied turning it into a motorhome with abn alfresco upstairs dining patio.

I was outbid fifteen seconds from the end.

phew
