Alas ...No MORR UPDATE

Oh... Will get a pic of the Quantums.. Gimme 10 mins.

So,what kind of money will get the Avant Gardes on your car ?

What sizes ?

I think it will be around 1500 GBP all in with delivery, custom duty and VAT. (Delivery is 375 dollars , duty & vat is 24.5% of total cost so wheels are very reasonable just a shame we have to pay the duty & VAT on top of the heavy delivery cost ).

19 x 8.5 ET 35 front
19 x 9.5 ET 20 rear

Offsets can be made more aggressive which I would do and they are willing to sort that for you. They have to be custom drilled so as a consequence they need re finishing you can choose a finish of your choice within reason.

I just wish it had a deeper concave on the back but to be honest I am fed up of looking and am going to go for this one for the short term future.

Let me know what you think as I haven't got a clue about offsets just that I want them to be as flush as possible to the wheel arch without having to have them rolled.

If we can get a few people interested it will probably save on cost and delivery and I have a mate who imports alloys and he may be able to do us a deal if we get a couple of sets or more

Thanks for that, it is nice. I think for me it is a little less interesting than the AG which is a lot busier but still seems to be tasteful. It would be nice to see the wheel on a Z4 but what can you do ? I'm going to go for it and then if its good then everybody can make a more informed choice, I will take the risk on it.

Anyway I've added a shot of the wheel on a red bmw so you can get a better idea how it will look on your red coupe.. Enjoy :driving:

The Avantgarde looks awesome...

Go for it fella..

The Quantum looks interesting....Nice bent spoke, nice dish and a "similar" take to the standard Z4M wheel...They are also very reasonable.

Out of the pair...................The Avantgarde takes it..

I think so but my car is black and they look awesome on red. Thanks for your input I will probably order them in the next few days and keep this thread going.
Apologies for the crappy picture but you can see lots on Google images :D

I have ordered the Avant Garde M590 with custom finish and custom offset through Vibe motorsport trading on Ebay as Vibe motors.
They are dealing with Avant Garde Bespoke who will drill stud pattern and customise the finish and offsets. I have opted for Hand brushed finish on the face of the wheel and inner barrel and they have assured me that the aggressive offset will not be an issue on my car in regard to rubbing etc.
Here are the offsets for this wheel and the pic shows how it will sit.

Fronts: 19 x 8.5 ET30
Rears: 19 x 9.5 ET15

I hope they are right as the wheels are being manufactured in America hopefully will be here within 3 weeks due to the hand brushed finish, standard finishes are delivered within 5 working days I am told.

will update with pics once they arrive.

Wow..

Aggressive offsets....

Sure they will be fine, are you running standard ride height ?

Well I'm on Eibach pro kit and I have told them of my concern but 'they assure me there won't be an issue but I'm not fully confident to be honest fella . I am a bit of a risk taker in the pursuit of that perfect look ( well my idea of it ) they do run bigger tyres out there and maybe that is what we are also seeing in the pic.

Awesome looking wheels, how much will it set you back in total?

Do they do custom offsets?

Yes Steven, you can specify any offset you like.
I have gone with a brushed finish and flat lacquer as I didn't want it shiny. The brushed finish added £450 to the cost.
You can go with a range of standard finishes, graphite, Hyper silver, Gunmetal etc which are all free of charge as it were.
If you wanted custom offsets and any of the offered finishes I think you would pay no more than £1100.00 all in but don't forget there is the vat & custom that the courier will charge on delivery. Duty is 4.5% of declared value and vat 20% of declared value.
If you order the wheels then pm me and I will fill you in in detail on how to get them to discount the deal so you don't suffer because of the vat and duty.

The Offsets Avant Garde have set translate to 18 mm front and 21 mm rear protrusion over the position of the original 224 alloys ( approx thumb width for me ).
They assure me that there won't be an issue in regard to rubbing however I am not reassured. Another thought I had was that the rear tyre tread will show excessively when looking at the car from the rear.
Anyone running on more aggressive offsets have any pics of the rear of their car ?
More thought and research required when looking at any change with wheels. Might be learning an expensive lesson soon

Wheels have arrived from Vibe Motorsport US (Ebay). They are Avant Garde M590 Wheels with bespoke offsets and finish (hand brushed and flat clear lacquer as opposed to gloss )

I have taken some pics, apologies for the very poor quality as I was lazy and used my mobile phone camera which really doesn't do the wheel finish justice.
I don't have my car until January so will update again with some pics when they are fitted.

FRONTS

REARS HAVE A BIT OF CONCAVITY

When I got mine the CSL reps rears were 19 x 9.5 ET17, with 265/30/19 tyres and I had no rubbing issues at all.
You'll be fine on the offsets on the rear. It had 8" on the fronts, so probably can't compare.
Do the eibachs lower the car from standard, or can you adjust ride height with them?

Thanks for that TTT I am reassured by that. The Eibachs lower the car by 15mm front and 20mm at the rear and are lowering springs, so no adjustment is possible
