Alas ...No MORR UPDATE

I have been looking into getting a set of wheels by manufacturer MORR their VS8.2 19" as seen on member dusesd's car but I was informed that they have been discontinued :(

If anyone has a staggered set in brushed finish with the right offset (19x 8.5 et 35 front and 19x10 et25 rear ) for and E85 M and is willing to sell I would like to hear from them.
I'm not holding my breath but I thought I'd ask

I've emailed this company to see if they have any stock as they are advertising them on their site .

They are around 2,500 gbp then there will be shipping which could be 300 gbp

I'm hoping some of the US members may help out with some info and I have emailed Dubsesd who lives in Canada, might have some info

I agree about the price but they are very nice and they are 2500 gbp without having haggled

Lets see how it goes we may end up with a better price if we can buy a few sets if others are interested. Will keep this thread updated with any developments. :thumbsup:

Yes I sent one on the 12th but its still sat in my pm outbox.

I was told by a UK wheel supplier that his enquiry with Morr had ended with him being informed that the wheel was now discontinued.
Can you point me in the right direction and do you know a supplier with stock with the correct offsets as advised in your post on the subject ?
There are others interested in the wheel also if it can be obtained at the right price.

I haven't heard anything back from any of my enquiries and the wheel has been discontinued.
I cant seem to find anything I like at the moment so I am going to leave it and wait until summer to search again. :(
As I have already purchased Goodyear Eagle tyres for the 19" wheels that I can't source ! I am going to buy a set of ordinary alloys and stick them on for now.
 
Have you seen the new Quantum 44 S2 ?

I really like them,not sure how they would look on Z though............I suspect, AWESOME!

Not seen it and never heard of it. Google brings up Momo Quantum but not a 44 S2
Do you have any link ?

I am on the brink of ordering an Avant Garde wheel as I was hoping to hear back from dubsesd as a last hope to get the Morr alloys that I wanted, it was a long shot but you never know.
I will probably get a call from the wheel man tomorrow morning as he was coming back to me with a price and will probably go ahead with it.

The Avant Garde a really nice.... What a lovely wheel.

They are the closest i have seen to the Morr's,although the Inspiri ISR 1 is close..

The Quantams are brand new,although im suprised i cant find any pics on a google search. If your on Facebook,go on CMwheels page,there are pics there.
 
Sorry, I still can't find them and I'm not a member of any of the social network sites so that's probably why !
I had a response regarding the Avant Garde and they are not made to fit a Z4 or maybe a Z4M. They Can sort it via the Avant Garde Bespoke department who will drill the alloys with the required stud pattern, finish of your choice and offset of your choice which they will advise you on. The other consideration is that once you've ordered the set and it arrives from California here in the UK there will be 4.5% custom duty and 20% VAT on the total price of the goods and carriage cost .
Might just go with this wheel now and be different. Will update soon and thanks for your help mate :thumbsup:
