Alarm siren

Hi all anyone know where the alarm siren is on a 2003 e85.
My alarm went bananas the other night & now it just flashes the lights but no sound when locking & unlocking.
It might just be a coincidence but I had just fitted led side light bulbs that show errors.
Swapped back to standard but still no sound any help appreciated. :thumbsdown:
 
Think its hidden behind nd the right rear wheel arch liner no sound from mine must pull my arch liner and check it out
 
I thought it was this in the passenger side front splash guard, next to the air temperature sensor behind the front bumper? Happy to be corrected :thumbsup: . Mine doesn't make any noise when locking & unlocking, never has. Indicators do flash though.

A beep on locking and/or unlocking is one of those things that can be coded - like 3 flash indicators, auto-locking, etc.

Mine didn't do it but thanks to "nick-l" and his efforts with Carly it now beeps on locking!
 
Sorted :D it is in the off side rear wheel arch incorporated with the tilt alarm. Found a broken wire to the plug after swapping out unit & still no siren. All fixed now & bleeping away nicely :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
 
Did you have to take the liner out to get to it

Good to know :thumbsup: . Makes me wonder what that noggin is I posted in the photo earlier :scratchhead:
 
No I managed to get to it from underneath without taking liner out. Who knows what that is in the front left next to the temp sensor.
