Alarm keeps going off

A few weeks ago my alarm started going off whenever it wanted to.

I took it to a garage, who reset the alarm.

No change, so I came in here and started reading all your comments.

I thank you all for sharing your findings, as i disconnected my bonnet clip, and the alarm stopped.

I purchased a new clip for £35.00 from BMW and got the same garage to fit it in ... less than 10 seconds.

lol I can't believe I drove there for them to fit it, when I could of done it myself lol

99% chance it will be the bonnet switch.

I stripped the switch and cleaned it.. Cured mine!

Yeah mine is disconnected, i should really take it off and either replace it or see if i can fix it.. Job for the weekend
