Alarm keeps going off after 1hour please help

A common problem is the bonnet sensor ,, open the bonnet and disconnect it..its in the centre near the windscreen.
Do a search there is a lot of info on this

+1 same on my e85. Bonnet switch in the middle at the back of the engine bay. When mechanics plugged it back in at service the same problem came back...unplugged, problem solved again.

Same happened to me, I disconnected the sensor and it stopped, I purchased a replacement from Sopers of Lincoln it wasn’t expensive but can’t remember exactly how much but it sorted the problem

Yep - Same thing happened with me - was quoted a fix of £300 to "re flash the alarm" - but thanks to the guys on here, just replaced the bonnet sensor for £10ish off Ebay and was all sorted! Can just disconnect it in the meantime though - under the bonnet middle of the car under the windscreen where the two cross braces meet, the switch is there just unplug it

Youtube Vid from a 1 Series replacement so you can see what the switch looks like:

I did the same thing when i bought the car, found it unplugged then connected it and the next morning my neighbours complained.

I paid £20 - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Genuine-Switch-for-Alarm-System-61319119057/284022834656?epid=561788874&hash=item42211485e0%3Ag%3AozsAAOSw-QtfbKRV&LH_ItemCondition=3&autorefresh=true

When this happened to me I simply bent the metal bracket that was holding the switch up a bit and it has been fine ever since.
