I had the same issue on my my old e46 330i and e85 and on both cars I bought new bonnet switches which sorted out the fault

Sounds like a good bet. I removed my current bonnet switch this morning (I ended up destroying it to try and remove it from the metal bracket) and have ordered a new one from BMW direct on ebay. £38.65

I didn't fancy buying a used one as I could end up with the same issue again, which I definitely do not want :lol:

Cheap as chips if it sorts the problems, could have been worse with the price of some parts
