Not tried Soper yet. I did reply and reminded them of their guarantee and asked them for their base price, so I could understand if was the stealer adding an excessive mark up or if it was BMW...if they reply I will let you know.
I have just emailed BMW asking them to justify almost £40 for a component that would have moved no more than 500 times in its 10 year life (that's at opening the bonnet once a week)
