Alarm Fault

Hi All

Just been woken again with the alarm activated it,s gone off 5 times since I bought the car,2 weeks ago. :evil:

the first three times the car was parked on the drive,(with a slight slope)the second two, it has been parked in the garage.

Is there an inherent/known fault with these cars,if so how can I find the cause :?

Work the bonnet sensor with some wd40. Seemed to do the trick for me.
Otherwise I guess you need to find out somehow which sensor is activating.

Bonnet sensor is most common fault, you can disconnect it to test the rest of the system.

Hi All.

Ok changed the bonnet switch,"sensor" unfortunatly made no difference,

At moment unable to lock the car as alarm sounds,normally about 4.30 am, :evil:
So desperate for a sollution to this problem,any more ideas please
