Alarm at speed

Hmm...

There seems to be various mentions of this on other forums.
Something linked to the battery perhaps?
Bug crossing over the sensors (yes this was noted as a cause elsewhere)
Bonnet sensor faulty and setting the alarm off. We had this on our ///M. Changed the sensor and it cured it immediately.
Worth unplugging and checking the one that’s there...

Sure you havnt got a speed limit warning set?
If it comes on at the same speed each time suggest you check car settings of onboard computer .
Our E85 3.0si has one as does my X5 - both set up in Trip computers as a max speed limiter!
Doesnt stop you going fast just warns you that you are over your own set limit

If you have SatNav I'd suggest as above that it is the speed limiter. you can set to any speed you like.

Hi Guy`s.. My SI doesn't have sat nav, I first thought it was some type of rpm alarm when I was pushing her, however couple of days ago we only at 3000 rpm on a duel carriage way pottering along at around 75 mph and the alarm bleeped a few times, it sounds as though it`s from under the dash but not easy to check when driving..... wife says it`s to keep me in check...it fails :-)
Thank you for your suggestions...

Probably his fit bit hitting his heart rate warning. Obviously too embarrassing to concluxe

I had this exact issue and for some reason at the mechanics a speed limit warning of 6mph.
If u go on settings then speed and deactive the warning its a fix if its the same cause
