Alarm again

the damn alarm has started going off randomly. so just a few questions which i think i already know the answer from a forum search
1. I know its not the bonnet sensor as thats been unplugged for years.
2. will a low or slightly duff battery set the alarm off? im guessing maybe is the answer. the car has been used minimally. maybe 10 miles on sat and before that a week or so back 30 miles from Birmingham where it went to a body shop before christmas. would surprise me if its been started to just shunt it around the shop loads.
3. to turn the alarm off press the lock button on the fob twice and i should see the red LED on the mirror do a long flash?
4. where are the alarm sensors? I have no idea where these are inside etc. I want to check they have not got a load of crud in them

5. last one. I seem to be having A LOT of condensation on the inside. more than I ever remember. Carpets in footwells are dry, battery well is dry, and roof sumps are clear so im not sure at all where its coming from. would condensation set the alarm off?

Check your battery condition and that it holds a charge, especially if as you say, it's sitting around for long periods.
If 10 years old, replace. If not, consider investing in a CTEK to re-condition it. Lidl does a cheaper version although I don't know if it compares to CTEK for re-conditioning ability.
As a rule I recondition my relatively new battery (4 years) every year.

You could also try and code out the 'motion sensors' and see if that cures your alarm issue.

I put the battery on a ctec yesterday it was quite low at 12.2v

How do you “code out” the motion sensors?
I ran the inpa software in the quasi functional mode where it gives you all the fault codes and nothing came up.

In the 10rs I’ve had this car I don’t think apart from the bonnet sensor the alarm has ever gone off.
