Hi Shane, struggling with PM's. Thought I would open a thread whilst you are online.

Akaroa lighthouse by the yaught club. At 5pm. But open to another spot if you know one.

So after 12 days away from my ///MR i finally got back behind the wheel of a zed again today.

great to meet you shane and thanks for a drive in that lovely 35i of yours. very remiss of me not to return the favour. our 1.3 ltr slush box auto mazda2 is a real milk float chaser.



Some great roads in the area. if i had my mr out there i recon i could be licence free in a couple of days easy.

First 35i drive. I test drove another E89 years back, not even sure what model it was. A few mods to Shane's car, for the better I suspect.

It was great to meet you John, least I could do after you'd travelled half way around the world to end up less than an hour and a half from me. (and the drive to/from Akaroa's always worth the effort). Sorry the roads around the lighthouse are speed limited and narrow - would have loved for you to have driven the 35i with some boost .
Enjoy the rest of your holiday, I'm sure the North Island will be a great experience as well.
