Went to Goodwood there with my wee fella drove the Coupe and camped (you can get a surprising amount into the car!). 860 mile round trip (good job petrol is cheap......).
Had for the first time a need for the air con to discover it is either crap or broken!
Fan doesnt seem to generate a lot of air movement hot or cold and when turned to minimum temp it really wasnt cold at all.
Are they just not the best or is it another wee thing to fix?
 
Might have gone into transport mode, the roof stopped working in mine and rear window heater didn’t work as above. Happens when the battery voltage drops too low. I see you have a coupe so may have different symptoms.
 
Apart from transport mode other possible causes to eliminate are the Final Stage Resistor (FSU) aka 'hedgehog' component under the dash which helps control the heating/air con and is a common fault, and/or low refrigerant gas which can be replenished for about £50 at a garage. There is loads written about the FSU on this forum and the web, part is not hugely expensive (£65) but a bit of work to get at.

Strangely I had a similar issue to you several years ago, bought a FSU intending to fix it but it fixed itself after I disconnected the battery for another job and has been fine since, something obviously 're-set', weird :?

Looks like Transport Mode is the likely culprit and I had a flat battery a while ago so it may have kicked in then.
Fan only runs at a low speed and heated rear window doesnt work.
Looks like some software and cables will be money well spent rather than paying to get it deleted.

Fingers crossed then, Transport Mode would be the easy fix :thumbsup:
 
You need to use Aircon all year round for it to lubricate the seals and stop the gas from escaping.

If this is the first time using it in a long while then it will need a full AC service.

The cost of a service is double the going rate as the cost of gas has went up. The gas alone is around £80 for the newer systems luckily the e85/e86 use the older gas which is slightly cheaper.

Fingers crossed you can get it cleared, I purchased the below on ebay and Worked a treat, might need to follow a YouTube tutorial to set it up though as it isn’t straight forward.

Great minds think alike or fools seldom differ - I just ordered that earlier tonight! Hopefully I can get it figured out!
