Aircon not working

Hey guys not sure if anyone has encountered a air con issue but mine seems not to work can't believe it would need regasing at 78000 miles? Could it be a fuse ??

Mine needed regasing at 45000 miles, so its not unheard of.

If its working but blowing warm air then it needs a regas -£40 incl vat

I can regas for £25 on Merseyside.

FWIW, pretty much every car loses 10-15% of it's gas per annum...

Had mine regassed last year and it was only down to 70%, still worth doing though as it came out a bit colder. I could easily believe it needs doing at 78k and 8 years old+

Be more specific when you say 'does not work'. A/C light comes on? Cool but not cold, or warm air comes out?

Regas and pressure test would be step one.

yea sorry lads all lights work compressor comes in so guess its a case of getting it re gased will get it done asap let you now the out come

Yep all that was needed was a re gas

Had my E46 regassed last year (well it was 14 years old)! :lol:

I hope whoever did it put in the gas with UV dye - then if it leaks it should be possible to see where it is leaking (just in case).
