Hello to all, first time Z4 owner and loving it. Unfortunately I have had an dash airbag light for as long as I have owned it, numerous returns to selling garage and awaiting looms etc, following last visit I am now waiting for a door module? Getting a little tired of the garage to be fair but obviously it's not costing me at present.
I now have an MOT looming in mid September and really hoping it will be sorted by then, if not is there a fuse I can pull to remove light for MOT purposes? And use a different and more local garage.

Try the passenger seat occupancy under the seat make sure it’s fully pushed in

Yes been reading about this, I will take a look as I'm losing faith with the garage. They replaced a loom in drivers door and have now ordered a module! Will def check the occupancy thing though thankyou.

Not seen garage codes but purchased myself a reader and this is what I got.

So you bought it from a trader? With the warning light on?
If so, my first thought is - why? And my second is - check with Trading Standards where you now stand in the event that it doesn't get fixed sharpish. Good luck

It was not there when I purchased, appeared 1 month into ownership. Has just been back many times for a fix.

I think I have a similar error code (only left side).

Looking at other forums (e46 link incl in topic below) the black clip which sits over the green connector might be missing some teeth.

Worth a try and might be a cheap fix if you can do it yourself. I’m waiting on some replacement clips and will let you know if it solves the problem for me - hopefully get round to it next Saturday.

Yes, for me, I noticed one of the teeth was missing when taking the airbag out to replace window regulator…. Suddenly the codes appeared!

Might not be the same issue obviously… but there is an airbag behind the door card. Worth reading some howto guides to help get doorcard off and to disconnect battery for a while before taking it out to avoid further issues/errors!
