Airbag warning stays on after clearing code 93E7

Yesterday my Z4 came up with an permanent airbag warning light. I purchased a C110 code tool today and identified an error code with the SRS, the code was 93E7 Undervoltage.

I cleared the error code, turned off the ignition then back on again, but the airbag light is still on. I reconnected the C110, went back to the SRS unit and diagnosed expecting to find the same error code indicating a permanent fault, but there are now no error codes on SRS, but I still get a warning. Has anyone any ideas?

This is a common problem with cheap code readers. Software not compatible and doesn't read the codes properly.
Needs a good quality scanner to be sure the codes are valid.
If the light is on, there IS a code stored.
You have a low voltage somewhere in the system. This could easily be the result of a low battery voltage or weak/old battery or connections.

Need to look at live data to be sure, and do a bit of poking around! (not literallY!).

check battery try charging it up and then clear code, also some readers wont clear light. You need DIS v57 or INPA

probably a bit late now nut there is another submenu where the airbag codes are hidden and need to be cleared too - or the light wont go out....
