Airbag Safety Information Module

Hi all,

New to this but am the proud owner of a 2004 Z4 2.2 SE.

Ross at RMB Hampshire has given it a look over and has been great. I've got the airbag warning light on and his assessment from the from diagnostics points to the Safety Information Module being faulty.

Has anyone had this issue before and can provide some advice. Ross has tried resetting it and is suggesting getting a second hand one as a new one via BMW is going to be very expensive.

If anyone is breaking a Z4 with (I believe) any of these part numbers (obviously working) I'd be eternally grateful to take this off your hands!
