Airbag reset

Hi,

Finally got round to changing the regulator on drivers side. Silly error but didn't disconnect the battery before removing the airbag.

I have the Carly adapter but I don't know how to cancel the airbag warning light.

Any tips please.

Carly can do some stuff, but can’t always do full airbag resets. Just run diagnostics and try reset afterwards... otherwise you’ll need a c110 scanner or similar!

OK thanks. Tried Carly and it wasn't having it. Just ordered a new scanner as recommended here. Guess it is still cheaper than taking it elsewhere.

Defo! And will come in handy later down the line as well... well probably!

From experience, Carly won't reset airbag lights, won't go as far to say all fault codes, as haven't had any fingers crossed.
Highly recommend a C310, I've got the previous version C110, and that cleared my light straight away*.

*Edit - Providing there is no fault at present.

Update. B800 scanner arrived today. Followed the steps but it wouldn't throw up any error codes so I guess it couldn't clear anything. I have another scanner c310+ but that and also the Carly hasn't helped. Any advice before I resort to the dealership. Thanks

Update. Just browsing online for ideas and I came across a thread which found the error in the SBSR [Satellite, B-pillar, right]. Thought it was worth a try so I connected my C310+ and sure enough the offending item was staring at me. I cleared the code and the light went off. Started the engine and the light was off. Really pleased. Hope this helps someone else.
