Airbag Module SBSR

I went to an indy BMW place to have them clear an airbag code that I set off when I plugged in the door harness with battery reconnected... :(

Unfortunately, it looks like I "done messed up"! The Autologic software could not connect and get a signal/reading from the SBSR B Pillar module. I'm having a hard time finding exactly which module that is. Here's the RealOEM diagram: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=BT52&mospid=47797&btnr=65_1212&hg=65&fg=65&hl=4

Which module am I looking for? Is it the one under the center console?

Thanks in advanced!!

Not 100% but I would guess its number 3 in the diagram.

Hope it's not the one under the centre console because it's a bitch to change!

Yeah, I took the center console out to replace the panel around the shifter bezel...pain in the ass for sure! :headbang:

I'm hoping #3, I'll be driving to Colorado this summer for an internship, so I'd like to have working airbags before I leave! :D

If youve done it once it's a lot easier, removing the rear centre console and storage flap was the hardest for me. Good luck anyway

Outside of replacing the module and seeing if it works, is there any real way to test the module to see if its faulty?

If you look at the diagram you can see there is a module on each side of the car by the door locks. They are there to detect impact so towards the edge of the car.
