We were told the replacement came out of a working car with no airbag faults, I have no reason to doubt this, supplier is very reliable.
The fact that the only error showing up now is the incorrect Vin leads me to think the rest of the module is functional as are the two satellite modules as they dont set any codes (so far).

Had same issues as you today I think on

Still shows as vin mismatch

No didn’t solve it even using my new Launch Tablet couldn’t get it to take the cars Vin I suspect the supplied replacement was locked up from a crashed car. Jon who’s car it was actually took the car to the module supplier in Birmingham and they had a go at coding it and his original without success. Ongoing saga.

Hi, was this issue sorted? can you physically see the wrong vin number? or are you just seeing the fault code? is it possible that you have another module (non airbag) that has a different vin number that this module is complaining about?
