Airbag light

Took the vents out on saturday and subsequently the radio in an attempt to fit a parrot Bluetooth.

I didn't disconnect the battery for this procedure.

The loom I had was wrong so I put the radio back in but left vents out. Had to use the car today and now the air bag light showing. Could what I have done above have any impact on airbags?

Assuming removing the radio whilst not disconnecting battery is to blame - google seems to suggest this happens on a few brands of car.

£40 plus vat (per local independent) to get the light taken off - Seems a bit steep. Kind of defeated a cheap Bluetooth install - although probably serves me right for not disconnecting battery!
