Airbag light

Hi everyone, just collected my 04 E85 3.0 from airport parking and my airbag light has come on. I had placed my hand luggage initially on the seat with the engine on to clear the windscreen etc then put it into the footwell so not sure if that caused it but my OBD II scanner (D900 2017 version) apparently doesn't work with the airbag light so l guess I'm looking for a new scanner. Looking through the posts on here there are a number of different options including the Creator C310 that should find the fault and hopefully clear it. Before l buy a second scanner am l doing something wrong with the D900 and if it doesn't work is the Creator C310 the best option out there?

Hi there. Before you spend more money on another scanner, why not tell us where you are and hopefully there'll be someone nearby who can scan the codes for you.
The Creator 310 has been superceded by the 410. The trouble with those is that they only scan the system you select.
The Autophix 5900, on the other hand, does a full system scan.

I'm based near Newark in Nottinghamshire if anyone's close and can help out with a scan?

[ref]bigwinn[/ref] is probably your closest 'expert' near Lincoln.
