Airbag light - passenger door

As you may have seen in my 'water leak' thread I accidentally triggered the airbag light while replacing the weather membrane. I have now got a diagnostic cable, and tried to reset the light, but it won't go out. I have taken the door card off and checked the connection which seems fine, but the damn light still won't go out :( Have tried some contact spray, still no joy.

So firstly, what am I likely to have done? All I did was removed the airbag for 5 minutes to replace the weather membrane. I don't see how that could possibly have damaged either the airbag itself or the wiring loom. I really don't want to have to remove the new weather membrane as I'll then have to waste £25 on another one as it's virtually impossible to remove it without ripping it to pieces.

Also, I am using INPA to try and rest it. Is there any other software I should try? The only error I'm getting is 'passenger side airbag', is there any software that will specify exactly what the problem is?

Finally, the airbag light is out! :driving:

It seems that I somehow damaged the green plug on the loom while disconnecting the airbag. I bought a whole new loom but as I had just fitted a brand new weather membrane and didn't fancy ripping it off again, I took a chance and swapped over just the green connecting plug. A quick reset and now the light stays out :)

It's a shame I wasted money on a replacement airbag and door loom, but I'm sure it's been a hell of a lot cheaper than getting the dealer to diagnose it!
