Airbag light on dashboard

Hello to all, since I bought the car it had the airbag light on, so I purchase the icarsoft diagnostics tool and I got this...

SBSR satellite, b pillar, right
Part number 6931288
98DD short circuit, firing circuit, belt tensioner, front right, to ground.

I been looking for answers for a long time but with no luck...

Do I have to replace the sbsr module? Or its just the belt tensioner???

Thanks in advance for your help

If the SBSR module has failed then you wouldn't be able to talk to it to get the fault, so my get is the seatbelt tensioner

Thanks for replying!!! I did a research on the seat belt tensioner and I'm going to change the wiring, but when it says "right" it for the passenger right?

Sounds like the tensioner is at fault.
If the Seat belt module has failed then you are more likely to get a 93DB fault (My experience)

see http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16786

If you can reset the fault.......when does it re-appear?

Yes I did reset the fault but it comes right back on when I start the car.

The main module does a check of all the inputs to the air bag system (health check).
Its picking up that that input is faulty. So that a cheap ish fix. :)
The Control module is very pricey and need's coded to the car. :(
Use Real OEM to check part compatibility as the air bag part numbers change regularly with model and age. The seat belt tensioner should be available and probably shares with E46 models.
I have a spare if you are based in the UK for an E85 2003

I did find the part number in realoem, I'm interested in the spare but im in the states, and I also got this part number 52108255704, it's the "cable" for the belt tensioner, but it's for another model and I couldn't find it for the z4,
