I replacement SBSL module a 7days ago.
Coding , Programming with ISTA/P complete.
but, The warning light of the airbag did not go out.
error code is 9842.

When I compared it with the SBSR module using C110 +, there were some differences.
If this difference is the cause, can programming fix it?
If anyone knows it, please let me know.

The error code will be displayed again in ISTA.

Has anyone ever fixed it?

I have the same issue at the moment, I have been told my coding is off. Can you access your SIM module with NCS Expert? you need to check if the unit is coded correctly. Then instead of using ISTA P, I would recommend a flash with WinKFP to get the VIN in the unit and then code it with NCS Expert.

I would suspect the central module rather than either of the satellite modules currently going through an issue on a 2003 3.0l that had a internal 93DF fault code, put a used module in but despite following coding instructions with NCS Expert and Winkpf have been unsucessful in getting the Vin number in the module changed from the doner cars to our car. The replacement only shows a code for wrong Vin number and because of this the airbag light remains on. If we managed to update the module with the correct Vin I'm sure we could clear the code and get the light off.
