Airbag Control Unit - Coding Needed

Hello All,
I have a battery draining problem which my garage said was due to the Airbag Control Unit. I have got a used one which I will get the garage to fit for me. It will need coding to my car - is there anyone near Kingston Upon Thames/ South London that has the software that could do this for me? Garage charge at £144 seemed on the high side, but they said BMW would need to do this.

Had the same issue this week. My local garage did it for £10

£10 is incredibly cheap for module coding. This is where a second hand, used module is programmed and changed to mirror your vehicle details; VIN, mileage, year, etc.
Are you sure it wasn't just a fault logged with the airbag that was cleared with a simple diagnostic device? This seems much more likely if it only cost you £10.
