Air vents loose?

Anyone else’s center air vent loose? I just noticed this today that there is a little play, it will wiggle in and out some if I push on it. Not a huge deal but somewhat annoying. Wondering if there may just be a broken clip or two and if anyone has ideas on fixing.

The clips holding it in place on top are metal and could be bent of someone in the past has removed the vent forcefully. There’s also some foam insert around the vent to prevent rattle. The vent is easy to remove, once you know the moves, so you could take it out for inspection. Search for earlier ”removing vent” threads, should be numerous…

Here’s one: https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9016. The metal clips are pulled down with two small screwdriders in place, then a piece of string, bent cable tie, coat hanger or similar to pull the vents out. Just don’t use any force, fingertips only 8)
