Air intake N52

Bought from a forum member last week but it made my car run strange so I’ve put it back to standard.

Comes with the MAF adapter that you need for N52 engine, filter, intake elbow, heat shield and hardware

Just want what I paid for it £100 posted

Doubt anyone is going to want to take a punt if it’s made your car run strange. What do you mean by that? Does it idle funny or something?

The N52 engine bay can get canny hot. Could it need colder air perhaps?

Well the previous owners car ran fine with it on, mine was a bit lumpy through the high end of the Rev range in 3rd and 4th down low it was fine, but I’ve only had it fitted for about 20 miles and apparently these take time to learn it’s actually got more air feeding in, no rough idle and it does sound great to be honest.

I’d maybe give it more time then. It looks canny to. I’d maybe remove the N/S front grill to remove the plastic bucket trim piece at the front of the intake and replace with a ram air scoopy metal thingy. One of the lads on the forum made a batch of them or you can buy them from RPi I believe

It is a good piece of kit but I think I’m going to try and flog this and stick the money into the exhaust instead.
