Air filter swap ?

I generally swap out my air filter and get a remap on my cars as a matter of course my previous focus ST was transformed greatly both induction sound and performance by doing this,my question is I’m really quite happy with my E89 2.8 Z’s performance but I feel it doesn’t have the acoustics to go with it , would a panel swap K&N or Monotune make a difference? Also Iv seen the “ golf Tee”mod online any thoughts on this ? Any other ideas?I don’t really want to chop my exhaust as it’s in really good shape.
Appreciate any advice
Cheers

I could lend my recent experince on this as im new to the e89.

Golf tee mod did make a huge difference to me, and I think stock with this sounds great. You get small burples pops letting off around 3k rpm sounds great without being a dick (i had a straight pipe catback on my last car and it got old after awhile)

Ive yet found a exhaust online that sounds great with little drone thats worth the cost. closest is Eisenmann Sport Exhaust System with Quad tips but most videos are for the race varian.

I swapped to the k&n filter which i also typically do first on my cars, and honestly didnt really change any intake sounds on this car as it had previously. I would assume dual cone might? but I dont think the intake sounds that great on this car when looking at videos of others im assuming this is due to the small turbos.

A panel K+N won’t result in any significant change in acoustics with the rest of the stock airbox in place..

If you want more noise from the stock exhaust the golf T mod will open up the secondary route of the muffler all the time..

Drive in sport mode will result in an increase in revs through the gears….

On my 23i i run K&N in the standard air box..
But i removed the trunking from air intake just above radiator to air box. Some sound comes from that.
