Air Filter 3.0

Just curious, what direct replacement airfilter do people recommend.

Standard BMW, K & N, ITG, BMC

i have a K&N on my 3.0 and it works fine. i have just taken it out and given it a good blow over with the air compressor and its straight back in.
 
Back in the day when I used to do a bit of spannering for a mate with his rally Escort we used to call K&N air filters "The Instant Rebore Kit" ..... Just sayin' :fingertap:
 
Ye on previous cars iv had

106 - K & N
clio sport - viper induction kit

Used to clean once a year, both cleaning kits came with a spray cleaner, and then a oil to help trap dirt

I know the ITG panels where meant to be really good on clios, but im slightly unfamiliar with bmws :/
 
Paper filter, and change it more regularly.

Saves the hassle of needing to clean it/worry about oil playing havoc with the maf.
 
Any one elses thoughts?

i dont mind the cleaning of them its easy and filters and cleaner kit lasts a few times, but i also dont mind buying these say twice a year
