Air conditioning not very cold

Hi guys,

Noticed my 'normal' setting seems to be just 2 clicks from maximum cold. The car is still producing warm-ish air.

If I turn it all the way cold, then it blasts out ice cold air, so assume fan & gas all ok. Could it be the thermostat?

Can't remember if it has always been like this. Where abouts on the dial are you guys having yours? Perhaps they just run hot, certainly my F10 used to sit at 19C.

The exact same thing has happened to mine a few weeks ago, there's a thread further down. As I can still achieve cool air (albeit with the dial switched to near freezing) I've decided to leave it, already shelled out £1k on new roof motor and rubber this year. I'll be interested if you can find out the cause!

Thanks - had missed your thread & searh didnt turn anything up.

Have dropped a note to Grosvenor, will update on what their thoughts are on the problem. Interesting my wife's car is of similar age & has hers set at the same level.
