2007 3.0SI, had the car for 2yrs (problem free, until now). No work has been done on the car.....

The A/C has always blown ICE COLD, running it on high would freeze me out.

Yesterday I went for a drive , the A/C was cool at best, not cold at all. I exercised the temp knob and it does go to heat and back to cooling.

I take it that you have got cooling selected and not accidentally turned it off?

LOL... yes, I know the snow flake button.

Played around with it more... Climent controls, blower fan, knobs / buttons work as normal. Vent vs snowflake, it definitely gets cooler when snow flake is engaged. Used an OBD2 code reader and that was all ok (no codes)

I'll check fuses next and have the the system pressure tested, though if it were low on Freon the compressor would kick on and off or not come on at all. That isn't happening.

Compressor will still kick in with as little as 50g of the correct 740g charge, as long as the pressure in the system is sufficient.

It's not a pressure check you need, the refrigerant needs to be evacuated and weighed to see how much is actually in there. Don't waste your time with the top up canisters. Have it done properly.

I can do it for you if you are local to WA9.

Thanks for recommendations. A co-worker does automotive A/C on the side, I'll have it checked and filled as needed.

Thanks for the offer, I'm state side (California).
