Air Con problems - fixed!

Hi guys,

I have only picked up my car on Saturday, and already found few niggles.

The Air con and also the rear demister wasn't working. I thought this might be a big issue, but I connected it up to my mates laptop using the BMW DIS software and there were a bucketload of errors, which we tested and cleared.

The car was also in transit mode, which we turned off.

And now the air con and rear demister seem to be working! Happy days! :)

While we were fixing all of that, we also ran the other BMW software and we messed around with all the options, so I put the daytime lights on and also the visual arm and disarm, as it was annoying to listen out for the locks everytime!

I will be buying a laptop so I can also run this software myself.

Did you use VMware?? if so do you know how to work it?
 
Sounds interesting, nothing better than making something ace even better with a bit of tweaking.
As already mentioned what was the software used for this wonderful dabbling? :wink:

T2FFN, thanks for answering that! I wasn't sure on whether we are allowed to disclose what software we use. Due to the implications perhaps legally!
