Air con button and rear demist button

Hi Guys, newbie here, ive just bought a mint 2006 Z4 of a pensioner and im well inpressed, 26,00 miles and the guy never used it in the winter and theres not a bit of salt or wear on it, i was told about the transport mode and i have had it checked with a fault finder and had all the faults taken of but for some reason i cant get the Air con button to work or the rear demister for the window,am i doing something wrong

What colour is it and what engine size/spec?

I don't know about the air con/de mister button not working but am sure someone will be along soon to help you out!

Have you checked the relevant fuses for the aircon and rear demister as a first pass...?

Did they specifically take the car out of transport mode?

Clearing the errors alone doesn't do this.

Im not really sure, i was told on another forum that if the transport mode was taken out i would get the errors to work, wheres the best place to ask about this

Well all sorted today, charged me £60 though but everything works fine now, he also said it was the first time he had done one with the air con and the demister, normally the radio etc. he said :roll:
