Finally getting rid of the runcraps on Thursday so need to get hold of a compressor can anyone give me any recommendations.

You don't need to carry anything if you're on runflats. A small compressor is always useful though for checking time pressures regardless of what tyres you're running.

Ring RAC630 fits neatly in the battery box.
Ive just fiitted a set of Falkens to my refurbed 108s (will post pics soon as the powdercoaters did a brilliant job) and obviously need some form of backup. So the compressor will pump the tyre back up but what do you do about the big hole that made the tyre go down in the first place?
What goo does everyone recommend that can be cleaned out and tyre saved/repaired?
I am applying a tyre goo the army use on the landrovers. On the run flats the tyre pressures didnt alter in two years and its reckoned that it will recover a hole from a 12.7mm bullet. Not that Im planning driving through war torn Poole; but I still would like that extra assurance especially if it doesnt take a lot of boot space.

I've got a couple of cans of Holts Tyreweld in the boot. You usually find some shop or other has them on special. I think I got mine @ £2 each from Asda - a while back now though.

If anyone is interested, Amazon have the RAC630 for £17 including delivery.
Just waiting for mine to arrive.
