Air bag SRS light on and want to bypass sensor

I have a 2005 E85 Z4 3.0 that had the sport seats stolen so I replaced them with just regular power seats and the passenger seat sensor has gone bad. BMW will not cover under 10year warranty because they are not the original seats and the reapair is $1900. I know that there are bypass modules (diodes) for the earlier models but this is a dual stage air bag so the ones I have found dont work. I m sure someone out there has put racing seats in theres and faked out the system. Please Help!

Welcome.. & wow.. you had your seats stolen? madness.

I don't know your answer I'm afraid - whats the problem with replacing the seat occupancy sensor on that side ? Would be better for your passenger in the event of an accident.
