Hi I'm interested to know if anyone has had there airbag light remaining on succesfully repaired. To date I have my passenger seat occupancy mat replaced, the logic box it plugs into, with no success, on a susquent occasion I have had the B post air bag ECU replaced, and a new ignition key which I dont feel is related, I just could'nt lock the car remotely. All components have been obtained from BMW dealers, I understand the car is a 2004 model and well out of any warranty but surely I cant keep going paying for expensive parts and have no result at the end. The specialist where the car is is very helpfull and competant, but I am of the feeling he wishes he had never met the car. Does anyone have any suggestions. :(

DIS v57 software should tell you what the error code is, either go to BMW who will charge or fine someone on the forum near you with the software. You can buy the software via BMtechnics or eBay.

Whereabouts are you? I have a code reader and have successfully sorted mine, but obviously there are 1001 reasons why the light may be on and as you have found you need to fix the actual problem not simply clear the error/light

The latest report I get from the repairer is that there are no fault codes displayed, however when the car is run for approximately 15 mins the light comes on again
